How to run CyberPatrol in Stealth Mode

CyberPatrol can operate in 'Stealth Mode' to filter, filter and monitor or just monitor user's web activity. The steps below will guide you through the process of setting it up.


STEP 1: Select the Stealth Mode Blocking Style.

1. Open the HQ and click on 'Manage User Profiles'.



2. Select a User Profile and change the Blocking Style to 'Stealth'.


3. Click 'Save' to apply your changes.

When a user attempts to access a blocked website, instead of "Blocked by CyberPatrol" page, they will see a standard "Page cannot be displayed"​


STEP 2: Hide CyberPatrol icon from the Windows Taskbar.

1. Open the HQ and click on 'Extended Features'.



2. Click on 'Behavior Options'.



3. Check the ‘Hide the CyberPatrol icon on the Windows Taskbar' box.


4. Click 'Save' to apply your changes.

STEP 3: Removing CyberPatrol folder from the Windows Programs list.

1. Click Start > All Programs and locate CyberPatrol folder


2. Right-click on CyberPatrol and select Delete.


To access CyberPatrol HQ in the future, open CPHQ.exe by clicking Start > Run > Type: cphq.exe and click 'OK'. This will restore the HQ Toolbar.
